The Training Supervisor is responsible for the development, administration, and supervision
of company training programs. This role works cross-functionally with all departments to
ensure training materials and plans meet the needs of both new hires and tenured
associates. In addition to coordinating training initiatives, the Training Supervisor supervises
training staff and oversees the implementation of training strategies to ensure consistency,
effectiveness, and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manages one to ten employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Fluency in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is desired. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and the ability to effectively present information to all levels of employees including top management in a variety of settings is required.
The work environment characteristics described in this section are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The majority of time will be spent in the office area; however, the employee will spend time in the production areas.
The production area temperatures can fluctuate significantly based on the time of year. The noise levels can be moderate to high. The use of hearing protection and safety eyewear is required while on production floor. The use of additional specific safety equipment may be required. The noise level in the office is usually quiet. The noise level in production is usually moderate.
Must have the ability to work all shift schedules, periodic overtime and be available for periodic weekend work.
